A word from your host, Karlie:
”Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I’m Karlie- the owner and point of contact here at Whistler is Calling. By profession, I’m an illustrator and digital matte painter working on blockbuster movies or tv shows, or freelance projects. I’m originally from Montréal and now live in Vancouver, BC Canada. I can’t get enough of these breathtaking landscapes. I launched my Whistler short term rental on May 1st 2019 and have since upgraded to a 3 bedroom ski-in townhouse in the lovely Blackcomb Benchlands near Upper Village. Throughout my hosting years, I’m proud to have received numerous 5 star reviews and earned a continuous Superhost status. I thrive to continue to offer exceptional service in a prime location that is Whistler.
I’m a mom of two young children and I come up to our chalet often with my family. Therefore, our place is very current and in touch with family needs and we constantly listen to feedback in order to create the best stay possible. Unlike most chalets that are run by bigger rental companies, I pride myself on offering a very personalized experience.
I also love getting to know the local community and highlighting talent that lives within it. And from that has grown our partnerships and little boutique: here, you can find unique gifts that you can purchase right in the chalet and take home with you. As well, I work hard to partner with numerous businesses to offer you some exceptional activities and savings. With my certificate in digital marketing (Brainstation) and my certificate in online marketing for the tourism industry (by Tourism BC Academy), I try to grow the Whistler is Calling collective with original ideas and avenues, and really focus on shining light on and uplifting local businesses that align with our values.
